Trịnh Sảng recently stirred up controversy by listing an iPhone 6S for sale online. The actress claimed she bought the phone in 2018 for 8,800 yuan (about 30 million VND) and was now selling it for 3,200 yuan (around 11 million VND). She said the screen was cracked but the phone still worked well. However, buyers were disappointed to find the phone needed charging three times a day, and the battery capacity was only at 76% each charge.

Trịnh Sảng’s phone looked fine from the outside when she put it up for sale online.
But buyers were upset when the phone didn’t perform as well as the actress had advertised.
Not only was she called out by buyers for lying, but Chinese netizens also criticized Trịnh Sảng for pricing the used phone ridiculously high. The iPhone 6S was released in 2015, but she only bought it in 2018. The original price back then was about 3,000 yuan (around 10.2 million VND), not 8,800 yuan as the 29-year-old actress claimed.
Currently, the phone’s value is very low, with used models selling for just 1,000 to 1,300 yuan (roughly 3.4 to 4.4 million VND). Beyond this phone sale, Trịnh Sảng has faced criticism before for selling used items at prices even higher than new ones. Netizens have questioned how desperate she must be to do this.
Trịnh Sảng has sparked plenty of debate recently for selling secondhand goods at prices exceeding their original cost.
