Recently, ViruSs’s name has been popping up more often, especially with his reactions to popular music videos in the Vietnamese entertainment scene. Most of his reactions have been highly praised by the online community and even caught the attention of international media. However, his latest reaction to Hoài Lâm’s new MV has sparked a lot of debate.

While he praised Hoài Lâm’s vocals and stage presence a lot, ViruSs also shared his personal thoughts on the song’s arrangement, saying: “What I regret the most is that I don’t know how long this song has been produced, but although the arrangement is good, it doesn’t really fit the current trends. If I had the chance to remix it, I think I’d make it sound more modern. And if the new version still kept the sad vibe, it might work better. The song does its job well and helped Hoài Lâm win, which I respect, but the arrangement feels a bit wasted. It could be done better.”

What caught attention next was the response from Nguyễn Minh Cường, the songwriter behind “Hoa Nở Không Màu,” performed by Hoài Lâm. He shared his first thoughts after watching ViruSs’s reaction.

Nguyễn Minh Cường expressed great respect for ViruSs’s feedback, emphasizing that the reaction was meant as constructive criticism without any ill intent. He also pointed out that music always carries its own unique style and, above all, needs to fit the singer performing it.
ViruSs later joined the comments to clarify his stance.
