Ohlana was a popular streamer with 100,000 followers on Twitch. She often played CS:GO and Valorant or shared videos from her travels. She was of Canadian and Vietnamese descent.
Although known for her cheerful presence during streams, recently Ohlana posted increasingly negative messages on her personal Twitter.

Her final tweet felt like a farewell, saying “No one is to blame for this.” Earlier on July 6, she shared a deeply emotional tweet about her struggles: “People with depression often find it hard to ask for help, even when they’re fighting. Those closest to them sometimes try to force their own will. With no way out, they sink into loneliness, where it’s just themselves and the darkness, rather than living by others’ expectations.”
That same day, Ohlana posted a long message on her Instagram story, which now feels like her final words.
“I have cried, loved, and shared so many wonderful memories with all of you who have been by my side. Thank you for giving me those beautiful moments. Looking back at my journey and all the opportunities I had because of you, I’m truly grateful. From playing survival games to backpacking around the world… but what I will cherish most are the people I met along the way.”
“I made mistakes, stumbled, lost, and paid the price. That’s normal, but sometimes the clouds were thick enough to cover my entire sky. One storm after another kept getting heavier… but in the end, we all have our own battles to fight.”
These heartbreaking words were shared in her Instagram story.
“Today is a beautiful day. Please go outside and enjoy it for me.” – Ohlana ended her emotional message with this cryptic note. Sadly, in the end, no one could help her but herself.
Friends and fans expressed their sorrow over Ohlana’s passing. Fellow streamer and collaborator Bawnsai said: “I’m so glad I met you. Though our time together was short, those moments were sweet, just like you. OMG, you were so funny. I always wished we had more time. I’ll miss you so much, girl. Rest in peace!”
Nosleeptv also tweeted his condolences: “She was truly beautiful inside and out. I’m very sorry this happened…”
One of her fans and friends, DE4Ner, shared a long tweet thanking Ohlana for supporting him during his own mental health struggles: “You are someone I will never forget, never. What you gave me, the lessons and memories we shared, you will always be in my heart. Thank you. Thank you for being yourself.”
This tragedy highlights the serious toll of online content creation, especially for streamers who often face trolling and harassment. Streaming isn’t an easy or glamorous job. They carry their own hidden struggles, and things are often much more complicated than they seem.
