The story is about Yoo Hye Di, a fairly popular female streamer in South Korea. After a long time dealing with exhausting rumors, suspicions, and accusations from viewers about her real gender, she recently took a clear step to prove herself. However, this move sparked new debates that even Hye Di probably didn’t expect.

Despite attracting many viewers, Hye Di often faced doubts because people thought the size of her hands and feet, along with her somewhat deep and husky voice, didn’t quite match her pretty face. This led to widespread speculation that she was actually a transgender man. Although she repeatedly denied these claims, the accusations kept coming. Some even suggested she prove the truth by showing her ID card publicly.

These arguments and spam, as Hye Di admitted, went on for a long time during her livestreams. Eventually, out of frustration, she revealed her ID card live on stream.

Indeed, her gender was confirmed as female beyond doubt. But then a new issue came up: her real age on the ID was 29 (born in 1992), which was different from the 1994 birth year she had previously claimed. Naturally, this caused an uproar among her fans, and not long after, she had to apologize: “I’m sorry for lying since the start of my streams, I apologize to everyone.”

However, not everyone attacked her. Many encouraged her, saying that even though she’s 29, she looks like she’s only 21.
