Products on the market come in all shapes, prices, and qualities. But when it comes to certain items like condoms, many people wonder if the price really reflects a noticeable difference in quality. The answer came recently when a YouTuber’s detailed condom review sparked a huge buzz online.

The main figure here is Ripple_S, a well-known YouTuber famous for his unique review style. In his latest video, Ripple_S surprised many fans by comparing two types of condoms to see if price differences actually affect quality. The two products he chose were Uni’s Tiger, priced at 2,100 won (about 42,000 VND) for a box of 10, and Sagami Original, costing 58,400 won (nearly 120,000 VND) for the same quantity.

Starting with basic physical measurements, the two condoms differed in length and width. Uni’s Tiger measured 180mm long and 52mm wide, while Sagami was 170mm long and 36mm wide. Ripple_S opened the cheaper Uni’s Tiger first and noted it had a scent similar to apricots, then tested its stretchiness. Next, he opened the pricier Sagami box, and everyone agreed on how incredibly thin it was. Made from polyurethane, Sagami condoms also have a lower chance of causing allergic reactions.

After the review, Ripple_S suggested choosing based on your situation. For those under 20 or on a budget, the cheaper option is acceptable. But if you can afford it, the pricier Sagami is better in terms of material, size, and stretchiness. Ripple_S still considers Sagami the best overall.
However, the review sparked mixed reactions. One of the most liked comments criticized Ripple_S for reviewing without actually using the products. They argued that real experience is necessary to give an honest and accurate review.
