Bangbangi might still be an unfamiliar term to many, especially in Vietnam. Simply put, it is a game where just one springboard mattress is used. Kids take turns jumping on it, bouncing off the mattress and launching themselves into the air repeatedly. If you heard that, you probably get the idea of what Bangbangi is. Recently, a YouTuber shocked viewers by doing this challenge, but instead of kids jumping, he dropped a car from 45 meters onto the springboard.

Specifically, the YouTuber explained that he made the video out of curiosity. He wanted to see if the springboard mattress could actually bounce a roughly one-ton car, or how far it might launch it. A simple idea, but it quickly became a hot topic once turned into a YouTube challenge.

The video was made by Mark Rober, who immediately created a buzz. He prepared a springboard mattress he claimed was the “strongest and most elastic in the world,” able to hold up to 2 tons. He admitted that despite careful preparation, he was nervous about whether it could handle the massive weight and the impact from a 45-meter drop.

The result came minutes later when the car crashed down at terrifying speed. The springboard shook violently and bounced the car back into the air once more. The car even flipped before flying off the springboard, ending up badly damaged. The YouTuber was shocked, laughed nervously, and started talking about the huge repair costs.

The video quickly sparked mixed reactions. Most people criticized it as a pointless stunt, calling it a waste of money and resources that offered no real value or positive knowledge, just reckless play.
