“Let’s normalize that Vtubers and streamers can be skinny, chubby, or just not like models, everyone. A bunch of guys jumping in to body shame a girl, do you feel proud when you comment so much?
If I don’t turn on the camera, they complain, then when I do, they rush to body shame me. Next time I stream only MBS, they’ll say it’s too capitalist.
I don’t even claim to be a model or have a perfect body, but these guys imagine things and when I don’t meet their expectations, they start criticizing.
The reason I’m posting this is because it’s not just me. My streamer friends who show their faces get the same treatment, and my channel has even been banned.” she wrote in a long post.
When she first started streaming, she didn’t want to show her face to keep some privacy. But after encouragement from fans, she decided to turn on the camera and let viewers see her real look. However, not everyone welcomed this change. Negative comments and even insults about her body and figure appeared during her streams.
