Recently, Vietnam’s crypto investor community was shaken when Zuki Moba was suddenly flagged as a GameFi project showing signs of a scam.
Specifically, a Twitter post from BSC Gems #BSC (@bscgems_news) on January 2 warned: “Our research shows many #GameFi projects have scam-like signs. Be careful before investing.“

When pressed by investors for proof, BSC Gems #BSC replied: “I’m not saying these projects are scams. I just noticed suspicious signs and wanted to warn the community.”
But regarding Zuki Moba specifically, BSC Gems #BSC said: “Based on what I know so far, I believe this project shows scam signs, but it’s not an outright scam right now!”
Zuki Moba was often mentioned by popular streamer ViruSs as a promising GameFi project worth investing in. In a Telegram investment group he manages, ViruSs advised buying the ZUKI token at $0.20 to $0.30.

Before being named among GameFi projects with scam signs, Zuki Moba showed many red flags compared to other popular crypto projects.
The developer claims Zuki Moba is a multiplayer online RPG inspired by Japan’s traditional throwing game. However, it’s actually a “Vietnamized” version of the Chinese game PoPoWar, with NFT and blockchain elements added.
Additionally, the Zuki Moba team repeatedly missed deadlines and failed to deliver on promises and their roadmap. The developers reportedly quietly altered the roadmap without informing investors, showing a lack of credibility and commitment.

Moreover, the project’s token management raised concerns with 95% of the game’s tokens unlocked and potentially sellable at any time. After user suspicions, on December 25 about 650 million ZUKI tokens were moved from the original wallet to a locked wallet. The project’s whitepaper did not specify when these tokens would be unlocked.
