Phung De Mac is considered one of China’s top female streamers
Phung De Mac was born in 1991 in Chongqing, China, and was once known as the highest-earning female streamer in the country. Before becoming a famous streamer, she worked as a vocational instructor. In 2014, she joined Douyu TV, China’s biggest livestreaming platform, as a game streamer.
From then on, her name became widely recognized. According to Sohu, at her peak, she earned over 1 million yuan (about 3.3 billion VND) per month. Her annual income was estimated at around 30 million yuan (nearly 100 billion VND) after taxes.
Notably, this income was only from Douyu. In reality, Phung De Mac’s earnings were much higher thanks to gifts and donations from fans. Once, she received a donation of 1.6 million yuan (about 5.2 billion VND). However, she later returned the money because it was reportedly embezzled from the company’s funds by fans.
After nearly five years as a streamer, Phung De Mac shifted her career by changing agencies and focusing more on singing covers of popular songs and organizing concerts.

However, by early 2023, Phung De Mac almost disappeared from major events. Many wondered about her mysterious absence and what caused this once top-earning streamer with huge fame to suddenly go off the radar.
Recently, on July 24, local media shared shocking news revealing that Phung De Mac had to pause all activities for about six months due to late-stage cancer.
When this news broke, many fans and gamers were stunned. To reassure everyone, Phung De Mac posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed before surgery, giving a thumbs-up as a sign of encouragement.
She also shared another photo showing her recovery after surgery, with a scar on her collarbone. Phung De Mac said her health is now stable. She even regained her voice after continuous training and promised she would soon return to the public eye.
