In games, you often see crazy scientists cooking up bold plans to create super armies to conquer the world. But on the flip side, some characters look tough but turn out to be surprisingly useless.
Instead of keeping you up at night, these 10 super warriors are just cannon fodder you can easily take down or even ignore.
Nazgul – Middle-earth: Shadow Of War
Nazgul, also known as the Nine Servants of Sauron, are terrifying soldiers in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. They can easily kill hundreds at once, and everyone fears the name Nazgul.

In Shadow Of War, the main character Talion and his friend Celebrimbor face off against Nazgul multiple times. Although both are supercharged with powers, it’s kind of funny that even regular enemies can beat Nazgul in this game.
From a feared army, they end up as useless lackeys in Sauron’s ranks.
Hunter, Halo Series
Basically, Hunters are walking tanks. They’re covered head to toe in armor, with a shield on the left arm and a powerful plasma gun on the right. Regular soldiers get taken out instantly, and even vehicles get tossed aside easily.

At first, they seem unbeatable, but after a few encounters, you learn their weak spot. Their front armor is tough, but their backs are vulnerable. Just sneak behind and shoot or even punch them down quickly.
The key is speed and taking advantage of their blind spot to secure an easy win.
The Broodals, Super Mario Odyssey
In Super Mario Odyssey, Bowser returns to kidnap Princess Peach again, this time demanding she marry him and take care of Bowser Jr.
To stop Mario, Bowser hires a gang of powered-up rabbits called The Broodals.

You’d think these rabbits would be tough, but they’re about as threatening as any other enemy Mario has faced. They throw their hats as attacks, which can be annoying, but once their hat is gone, just jump on their heads three times and they’re done. Bowser must be pretty disappointed.
Saren Arterius, Mass Effect
Saren Arterius is an elite Turian soldier who rebels against the galaxy because he hates humans and other weaker species.
As a Turian Specter, he’s equipped with advanced Reaper tech. But when facing Commander Shepard, Saren mostly uses hovercrafts and doesn’t pose much challenge. Players can easily take him down with regular weapons.

Later, you face Saren again in the final boss fight, but you can convince him to commit suicide, saving ammo. Either way, Saren dies, and Shepard faces the real final boss: Saren’s corpse. The corpse is even weaker than Saren alive, mostly just wandering around the room without posing a real threat.
The End, Metal Gear Solid 3
The bosses in Metal Gear Solid are top-tier, and MGS3 is no exception. Snake faces super warriors, including a 100-year-old Russian sniper named The End. His age is probably why he’s one of the easiest bosses in the game.

At first, The End is tough, hiding deep in the forest and sniping Snake. You have to track him down. But the easiest way to beat him is patience (or adjusting your game clock). Just wait a week in-game and The End dies of old age. Having lived 100 years, this makes sense, but it definitely surprises players.
Jul ‘Mdama, Halo 5: Guardians
Jul ‘Mdama is an Elite Supreme Leader of the Covenant, first appearing in the Halo: Glasslands novel and later in Halo 4’s Spartan Ops campaign.
Because he appears so rarely, Jul ‘Mdama is considered a dangerous warrior. So when he shows up early in Halo 5: Guardians, players expect a tough fight.

But just 20 minutes into the game, Jul ‘Mdama is killed by the main character Locke in a cutscene. He dies so fast players barely get to know him, despite an epic backstory in the lore.
Sometimes seeing is believing, right?
