Nờ Ô Nô is probably a familiar name to many social media users in Vietnam. Back then, this TikToker made a video that insulted poor people, sparking a huge backlash and even boycotts from users and advertisers alike. Nờ Ô Nô’s account was permanently banned, and attempts to create new accounts at the time were blocked.

“We have permanently banned the user @tuanbrice (also known as ‘Nờ Ô Nô’) due to content that violated our community standards,” a TikTok representative in Vietnam said.
But now, Nờ Ô Nô is making a strong comeback with a new account that has already gained hundreds of thousands of followers. Scrolling through TikTok, many users still see this creator’s videos recommended to them. Is TikTok turning a blind eye to this return?

TikTok seems to be too lenient with “unclean” content and creators. Nờ Ô Nô’s new videos still carry the same harsh style that many find uncomfortable, yet these clips continue to appear on TikTok and attract a large following.
Even though Nờ Ô Nô was once boycotted by the online community, with what looks like TikTok’s help in boosting views, this creator is growing stronger than ever. If this momentum continues, Nờ Ô Nô could make an even bigger comeback than before.
