Recently, a clip surfaced on social media showing a TikToker using harsh and offensive language while donating food to homeless people in Ho Chi Minh City, sparking intense debate and outrage online.
Specifically, in the video, the male TikToker named Nờ Ô Nô approaches an elderly woman sitting at a bus stop and offers to buy her favorite meal. What caught attention right away was the series title, “What Poor People Eat, I Eat Too,” which upset many viewers. On top of that, Nờ Ô Nô used a string of disrespectful phrases while talking to the elderly lady, such as “Hello, poor old lady lonely in the cold” and even said things like “You’re poor but still picky about food” and “Stop being poor, no one will help you forever.”

Although Nờ Ô Nô’s intention was to help those in need by providing meals they wanted, his rude choice of words triggered a storm of criticism from the online community.
