After facing multiple controversies, most recently over a video asking dolls for good grades, Thơ Nguyễn went quiet for a while, seemingly to calm the backlash. Now she’s back as a YouTuber, aiming for 10 million subscribers and the coveted diamond play button on the platform.
But things haven’t gone as planned. Following her past mistakes, parents have been more careful about what entertainment their kids watch, so her videos aren’t getting the same warm welcome anymore.

Not just on YouTube, her personal TikTok is also showing signs of being forgotten. Where her clips used to easily hit around a million views, now she complains, “Videos posted for three days only get about 30,000 views.”
In a recent TikTok video, she shared that many fans have been asking her: “Please make doll videos again,” “I miss the doll friends so much,” “I want to watch doll videos but can’t, please make more.”
Whether these requests are real or just content she created herself is unclear, but the fact remains that her videos are only getting a few tens of thousands of views after several days. This clearly upset Thơ Nguyễn: “Honestly, it hurts so much… Making one video takes 2-3 days, but then… Uhuhu, I’m so mad, super mad, really mad, insanely mad,” she lamented.
She even openly asked viewers to help “boost” her views: “So please watch it, it’s posted now, the doll video is up.” This move angered many parents who reacted strongly, bluntly saying:
“My child is banned from watching or even mentioning Thơ Nguyễn,”
“Please don’t encourage the kids to watch so they can focus on studying,”
“Just stay hidden so the kids can learn better…”

This strong boycott will definitely impact her career goals in the near future.
