One of her most talked-about moments was when she openly clashed with netizens. With just one line, “It’s my time to shine now,” she earned the nickname “the sass queen.” When someone commented, “Thơ Nguyễn is over,” she fired back sharply. But she later said she was just being playful. Half-joking, she added, “Thanks to the page for the feedback. I promise, as someone ‘over the hill,’ I’ll tone down the sass and live more kindly to fit in with the community.” 
Even after returning to her hometown to work on personal projects, Thơ Nguyễn stayed in the spotlight for various online feuds. She openly embraced the “Thơ sass” persona.
The popular YouTuber emphasized this again in her latest post. “I’ve fixed my overbite a bit, but I’m not sure I’ll tone down the sass!” She shared photos showing her transformation and revealed she had a nose job to boost her confidence:
“Back then, when people asked why I didn’t get surgery even though I’m wealthy, I said I liked my natural flaws. But honestly, I was afraid my fans wouldn’t recognize me. I was scared my expressions wouldn’t feel natural and fun for them anymore. Now, I hope this new ‘Thơ Sass’ look won’t be mistaken for the old Thơ Nguyễn. So fans won’t ask, ‘Where did the old Thơ go?’
I realize that’s a bit selfish of me. I want to live life on my own terms now.”
Despite mixed reactions, she expressed satisfaction with her 18 million VND surgery: “My nose bridge was high but the tip was flat, so it looked like this. I had it lifted to make my face look more balanced and reduce the overbite.”
