Beauty contests happen all over the world, and now even AI-generated “beauties” are joining the scene. Recently, the social platform Fanvue surprised everyone interested in AI technology by launching a unique beauty pageant where all the contestants are AI-created models from around the globe instead of real people. Even more exciting, the prize for this contest is a whopping $13,000 (over 300 million VND), which has attracted countless AI creators to participate.
The prize is called the World AI Creator Award (WAICAs), aiming to boost the economic benefits for AI creators. What’s even more surprising is the judging panel, which includes a well-known figure in the beauty industry alongside two famous AI personalities on social media right now: Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini. The contest has some basic rules. First, all images must be fully AI-generated. Judging criteria include modeling skills, image detail, and how well these AI beauties engage with fans on social media.
Judges will also evaluate how fast each AI beauty’s follower count grows, their interaction with fans, and the fine details of their images, like skin texture, hands, and backgrounds. Plus, the creators’ introductions during AI training will count as part of their skill score. Just like any beauty pageant, there will be a Q&A round with questions like “How would you make the world a better place?” So beyond creating stunning images, creators must train their AI to give thoughtful answers, testing both beauty and intelligence.
