You have to admit, Tesla’s electric cars with their autopilot system are a huge leap in technology. The system can recognize and analyze obstacles ahead, then automatically find a safe path to avoid collisions for the driver. But sometimes, it also throws up some really strange, hard-to-explain moments. Just recently, the internet went wild after a Tesla autopilot spotted a “ghost” while driving through a cemetery.
The story started when a TikTok user named Sinaata posted a video showing his Tesla driving itself through a graveyard. What’s weird is that besides the memorial flowers, there was no one else around. Yet suddenly, the Tesla’s system detected a person near the cemetery. Even more shocking, when Sinaata looked up, there was no one there at all, even though the screen clearly showed a figure.

The online community was pretty confused since these mysterious “figures” could only be detected by Tesla’s autopilot system, not by the naked eye. Tesla uses multiple cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and radar to identify lanes, traffic lights, and nearby vehicles. So it’s possible one of these methods picked up a real “ghost.” Sinaata even posted another video showing Tesla’s system detecting numerous mysterious “creatures” in the cemetery, while he clearly saw nothing.
Honestly, it’s hard to say what’s going on here. This could be a clever stunt by Sinaata to get views or just a glitch in Tesla’s system. But who knows? Maybe the autopilot really did spot a ghost.
