After a year off due to COVID-19, the Arena of Valor World Cup (AWC) is officially back this summer. The 2021 season will bring together the strongest Arena of Valor teams worldwide, including three from Vietnam: Team Flash, Saigon Phantom, and V Gaming.
Besides Vietnam, top teams from Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, China, and Brazil will also compete. Most teams have finalized their rosters and prepared strategies for the opening matches.
All 16 teams are strong contenders with a fair shot at victory. While skill levels vary, Vietnam’s representatives stand out for their professionalism compared to other countries.
Looking at the lineups, fans noticed Team Flash is the only team with a dedicated Content Creator role, responsible for visuals, content, and delivering post-match online interviews.
The person in this role is none other than FL. Elly (Đỗ Thành Đạt). Known for his sharp wit, even though he’s not competing, the “Salt King” still leaves his mark on Team Flash’s identity.
Fans were surprised to see Elly back in the spotlight, initially thinking he had returned to competitive play after announcing his retirement from tournaments.
