Recently, teacher Minh Thu has suddenly become one of the hottest internet sensations right now. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call her the most popular female teacher on social media. Streaming physics lessons, a subject often seen as boring and dry, Minh Thu attracts thousands, sometimes even hundreds of thousands of live viewers thanks to her striking looks and funny, engaging style. She’s basically one of Vietnam’s top streamers.
Becoming such a well-known internet figure, it’s no surprise that nearly all information about this beautiful girl spreads rapidly across online communities. Just recently, social media buzzed again after a clip from one of Minh Thu’s livestreams went viral. The clip shows the popular teacher recalling a funny memory about being pushed into the boys’ bathroom by classmates.
Minh Thu shared, “Back in high school, I was the class clown who got teased the most. One time, my classmates locked me inside the boys’ bathroom. When I walked in, there was a boy already inside.”
“He saw me and screamed. I was surprised and thought, ‘Wait, I’m supposed to be the one screaming, so why is he yelling louder?’”
“Feeling a bit offended, I yelled even louder. Then we both ended up shouting at the top of our lungs inside the bathroom.”
Looking back on that school memory, Minh Thu admitted, “That was wild.”
Of course, this funny story quickly caught the attention and amusement of the online community. Many praised Minh Thu for the humor she brings. Currently, Minh Thu has left her international school teaching job to focus on online teaching.
