A Memorable Season for TDT
THE DAREDEVIL TEAM (TDT Esports) made a fresh splash as one of the four teams competing in the 2024 Winter ĐTDV Finals. PS Man and the players gave it their all, showing major improvement. SGP and TDT were the first two teams to secure their spots at the Finals held at Military Zone 7 Arena.
On the crucial match day, TDT and 1S delivered an explosive 7-game series full of thrilling fights before ultimately falling to Maris and his team.
Fans Left Heartbroken by the Result
From the coaching staff to players and fans, the red-clad TDT team was soaked in sadness. Legendary captain PS Man wrote, “The guys played so well, today the banpick was tough. Please don’t blame the team, the kids gave their best. For games 6 and 7, I should have picked better.”
Outside Military Zone 7 Arena, a beautiful female fan was seen sobbing, tears streaming down her face.
Speaking with her, we learned she is Hang Hang, TDT Esports’ media manager. She shared:
“I’m the one posting the scores, so I always have to prepare two images for both outcomes. I had made the post for SGP and TDT meeting in the grand final but had to change it to Runners-up. I also had to write thank you and farewell messages for our supporters… Posting that, I couldn’t hold back and cried.
Earlier, Garena interviewed me before the hype started, and I guessed the score would be 4-3, 50-50 chance, with my team winning, but it ended up the other way.” Hang choked up.
Also cheering for her boyfriend, TDT player TNHAN, Diep Chi expressed her regret: “My boyfriend has fought from the regional battles to the Series A, now competing on the big stage. I hoped he would have a great result and memorable experience.
Seeing everyone’s daily hard work and dedication moved me. The result wasn’t what we wanted, but the disappointment is real.” she said.
Still, with what they showed, the 2024 Winter ĐTDV season remains a memorable milestone for TDT as their first time on the big ĐTDV stage. Their rise won’t stop here. We look forward to them shining even brighter at AIC 2024 and future seasons.
