For many people, streamers just seem to go live, play some games, or maybe dance along to a few songs. But things aren’t always that simple, especially since there are plenty of streamers around the world who love to joke around and pull off some seriously dangerous stunts. Some might think these risky moves are just clickbait to get views and attention, but sometimes they’re just pranks that end up putting the streamers’ lives at risk.
Real-Life Fruit Ninja Challenge
The fruit-slicing mobile game Fruit Ninja is familiar to many. But playing this game in real life with sharp dual blades like Lance Stewart did? That’s something few would dare to try. Lance is known for streaming a wide variety of content, but everything changed after his Fruit Ninja video.

Just 10 seconds into filming, one of Stewart’s blades stabbed into his right hand, causing heavy bleeding. Although he called 911 immediately, he even fainted briefly while waiting for the ambulance. Luckily, he recovered, but it took a whole year before he regained feeling in his pinky finger.
Setting His Own House on Fire
“Don’t play with fire” is advice everyone’s heard at least once. But Daasuke, a Japanese streamer famous for Minecraft, seemed to have missed that memo.

After accidentally spilling water on his Zippo lighter, Daasuke tried everything to fix it. After several failed attempts, both the matches and lighter suddenly caught fire. His first reaction was to throw the Zippo as far away as possible to avoid burns. But the flames quickly spread, and his house ended up burning down.
Staring Down a Champagne Cork

Just from the photo above, you can probably guess how this story ends. Hansen took part in a challenge similar to Russian roulette with friends, staring right at a champagne bottle’s cork as it was about to pop.
And boom, with only about 3 centimeters from his face, the cork shot out and hit Hansen directly. Thankfully, he was wearing glasses that protected his eyes, but he definitely didn’t enjoy his champagne shower.
