Putting together clues like streamer Meo Simmy’s studio photos, Gao Bac TV’s video content, and info shared by some Hero Team members on Facebook, fans are convinced that Co Ngan TV and Meo Simmy will join forces for a new rap music video.
The news of these two female streamers teaming up has caught the attention of the Free Fire community and netizens alike. Both ladies were previously criticized harshly online for their rap skills, often called out for rapping badly or sounding like they were just reading lyrics. So this collab brings some nerves, especially for Simmy.
“I feel a bit anxious but I’m giving it my all because this project isn’t just about me, lots of people have high hopes. It’s my first time working with Co Ngan, so we want to do a great job and give it everything we’ve got.”
About her partner, the Hero Team streamer honestly said, “Many people online say Co Ngan raps badly, but I think she’s doing pretty well. She’s not a rapper by trade, so she can’t be expected to rap like a pro. What impressed me most is that Co Ngan is even cuter and friendlier in real life than online. Sometimes she gets a bit tired rapping and dancing at the same time, but she keeps pushing to get the job done. That’s what stood out to me.”
This project is part of a major Garena Free Fire campaign this April. The rap will be performed live at the Survival Arena Finals stage. It’s both a challenge and an opportunity for Simmy to prove herself. To overcome her nerves, she’s been training hard, waking up early to practice singing two hours a day, with support from Hero team members:
“I practice rap in the morning and dance at night. Rapping while dancing is tough, but I’m determined to master both. I’ve felt stressed and frustrated many times during training, but the Hero team kept encouraging me, giving me the motivation to keep going.”
Simmy, born in 2001, shared more about the project, saying it’s a big investment that brings together many top KOLs. It’s a blend of old and new streamer generations, and she believes this mix will create an unprecedented wave in the Free Fire community.
When asked to rate their collab, Simmy confidently said it’s 80% likely to succeed, thanks to both their efforts and support from other professional streamers and YouTubers. After her initial setback with criticism for her singing, Simmy says she’s grown and become more professional:
“At first, I was scared of being mocked by people online and even friends. But I prepared myself mentally and decided to try again because I have the Hero family backing me.”
“Honestly, I’m grateful to those who criticize me. My fans always say nice things, but it’s the haters who show me how to improve. I owe them a sincere thank you.”
“I want to change how people see me in the future. Winning over those who dislike me is harder than pleasing fans who already like me, but that’s how I’ll find my flaws and grow.”
