Elden Ring was already known as a super tough game when it launched. And the recent Shadow of the Erdtree update proves once again that FromSoftware’s games are not for players looking for an easy ride. But over time, instead of just beating the game the usual way, players have started creating even harder challenges. One perfect example is the streamer featured here.

The star of this story is MissMikkaa. She already has a solid track record taking down some of Elden Ring’s toughest bosses. But unlike most players who use a mouse and keyboard, MissMikkaa controls her character with a dance pad, which works kind of like a console controller. It might look simple, but mastering movement and combat with this setup is incredibly challenging.

Thanks to relentless practice, MissMikkaa managed to conquer the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. But every victory comes with a price, and for her, it was a steep one. Specifically, during the final boss fight against Radahn, she attempted the battle 52 times, spending a grueling 7 hours nonstop on the dance pad before finally winning. Right after this epic achievement, she could barely stand and lost feeling in her legs. She considers herself lucky because pushing any further might have caused serious injury.

Keep in mind, that was just the cost of beating the final boss Radahn. To fully clear the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, MissMikkaa spent a full 7 days playing, dying 325 times in total. Out of those, 69 deaths were from accidentally jumping off cliffs due to the unfamiliar dance pad controls.
