Setting challenges and punishments during livestreams has become a common habit for many streamers. Of course, this isn’t a guaranteed loss for them since these moments usually bring in the most donations from viewers. Still, the story of Lee Sang-ho, a popular League of Legends streamer, might make a lot of people, especially young men, cringe in sympathy. Instead of a typical punishment, Lee Sang-ho promised his fans he would get a circumcision if he failed his challenge.

After a long break, Lee Sang-ho made a comeback and immediately wanted to grab his fans’ attention. That’s probably why he challenged himself to stream non-stop until he reached Challenger rank, the highest tier in League of Legends. But whether it was bad luck or poor skill, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t complete the challenge. What’s more, he had confidently declared he’d go through with the circumcision if he failed. True to his word, he consulted a urologist and went through with the surgery.

Of course, the surgery itself couldn’t be livestreamed, but Lee Sang-ho shared raw and honest footage with his fans after the procedure. You have to feel for the guy, who just returned after a long break and streamed only once before announcing he’d need to pause again to recover. “When I woke up, the anesthesia wore off and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced in my life” he said.
“I have to visit the hospital every two days for sterilization, and it will take two to three weeks to fully heal“, poor guy really has it rough.
