On her personal Facebook page, V69 NgCDc Kim Chi, also known as streamer and model Kim Chi, shared the full story behind the incident. She revealed that she was one of the victims of the “40GB” leak. At that time, she was mentally devastated and lost sleep, unsure how to explain the situation to her family and friends.
Kim Chi speaks out after the whole incident
“Every morning I woke up to countless insulting and mocking messages from strangers. I lost the trust of some family members and close friends. I felt helpless because there was nothing I could do to fix the damage to my reputation. No one wants their original, unedited photos leaked online like this, you guys!”
Kim Chi also took the chance to send a message to young streamers and models just starting out, warning them to avoid being exploited by bad actors.
“Models, when working in sensitive fields, always make sure to have clear contracts outlining terms, rights, obligations, and content confidentiality. You should be prepared with ways to protect yourself. Be smart in choosing partners and always work with contracts.”
Additionally, Kim Chi condemned the unprofessional behavior of many photographers. She hopes no other female streamers will become victims of similar private photo leaks.
