Over the years, it’s not just overly revealing streams that have gotten creators banned. Plenty of so-called “artistic” works by streamers have also led to harsh bans. Recently, another streamer joined this list after creating an Among Us drawing he claimed was highly artistic. But to outsiders, it came off as extremely offensive, provocative, and even contained 18+ elements.
Among Us is usually seen as a harmless game with humorous, adorable visuals. But from the perspective of Wantep, a fairly well-known Twitch streamer, the story took a very different turn. He created an ASCII art version of an Among Us character using standard characters and letters. However, Wantep added details that made many fans blush, as they strongly hinted at adult-themed imagery.
Not stopping at just streaming it live, Wantep even posted his “artwork” on his personal page to publicly claim ownership. In the comments, he shocked fans further by admitting that his drawing perfectly matched what many people would imagine when seeing it.
Wantep’s actions were basically a direct challenge to platform rules, and the consequences came quickly. He was hit with a three-day channel ban as a warning. Meanwhile, the Among Us developer is now considering whether to permanently ban Wantep for severely damaging their character’s image.
