Quỳnh Alee herself responded to the community with a clarification: “I’m really surprised by the mixed reactions, with some thinking I’m fishing for donations from my followers. That’s totally not the case. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’d know I’m pretty playful.”
She added that posting her bank info in the comments was just a joke to interact with her fans. “I never forced anyone to donate. It was simply a silly, fun move to get people talking and engaging with me at that moment.”
Despite her apology and explanation, many online users remained angry. Some followers commented:
