Even though PewDiePie isn’t as popular as he once was, he’s still the biggest YouTuber in the world based on subscriber count. With over 111 million subscribers, he’s the only individual YouTuber to receive YouTube’s legendary red diamond play button. But recently, that prized award almost disappeared during a home break-in.
In a recent update, PewDiePie shared that his home was broken into by thieves. Luckily, it was the house he and his wife bought in Japan but haven’t moved into yet. Fans know PewDiePie has talked about moving to Japan because he loves the culture, but the pandemic delayed those plans. If he had already moved, he might have confronted the burglars himself.
The YouTuber revealed that the thieves took about 90% of the valuable items inside the house. Fortunately, his red diamond play button was still in England, so it was safe from the burglars.
Before this incident, PewDiePie stirred up the internet by diving deep into Elden Ring. He even said the game is better than the Dark Souls series because of its fully realized open world. According to him, if players struggle with a boss, they can explore other areas to level up and get stronger. While some criticize Elden Ring for being too hard, PewDiePie disagrees, believing the exploration aspect gives players a chance to improve.
