The Ministry of Health announced on the morning of January 28 a new Covid-19 case number 1581, residing in Vinh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district, linked epidemiologically to a previous patient, BN1553.
Patient 1581 is Mrs. L.T.M.T., born in 1967, living at apartment P12A05, building T6, Times City urban area, Vinh Tuy ward, Hai Ba Trung district.
Initial contact tracing revealed the following movements of patient 1581:
January 23, the patient visited BN1553’s home, spent about an hour chatting and eating fruit with Mrs. C., BN1553’s mother (who has also tested positive for SARS-CoV-2).
Afterwards, the patient traveled with her husband by private car to 95 Hai Dong Street, Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Duong.
January 24, the patient went to Hai Tan market by private car.
Afternoon of January 25, the patient returned with her husband to apartment P12A05, T6 Times City by private car. Her husband then went back to Hai Duong.
Morning of January 26, the patient took her grandchild to school at Vinschool T36, picked the child up in the afternoon, and bought medicine at Duc Lan pharmacy in building T7, Times City.
7 AM on January 27, the patient took her grandchild to school, then went shopping with the live-in helper on the 12A floor of T6 along alley 622 Minh Khai, buying flowers, apples, and betel nuts (wearing a mask).
From 10:30 AM to 12 PM, the patient visited Vincom Mega Mall Times City, made a payment without close contact, and wore a mask throughout.
Between 4 and 4:30 PM, the patient picked up her grandchild and returned home.
January 28, the patient went for testing at B141 Lo Duc Maternity Hospital (Hanoi) with her daughter, wore a mask, and had no close contact with others.
To ensure effective Covid-19 prevention, the Vinh Tuy ward Covid-19 task force requires all residents currently living and working in every apartment of building T6, Times City urban area, 458 Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy ward, Hanoi, to temporarily isolate at home and not leave their homes. This order is effective from 1 AM on January 29 until further notice from the ward task force.
Residents must report their movements since January 25.
Monitor health closely and follow all prevention guidelines from the Ministry of Health. If symptoms appear, notify the building management immediately.
