Since Facebook and Messenger introduced the message recall feature, users have been pretty curious about it. Imagine missing out on a bunch of chat messages in a group, then coming back to see only a line saying “message was deleted.” Frustrating, right? But recently, the online community discovered an app that satisfies that curiosity. This trick is quickly spreading among Facebook users.

Back in August 2020, Messenger allowed users to delete sent messages without any time limit, replacing the old 10-minute window. But with the app Unseen, which has been going viral lately, that feature loses its power.

Specifically, Unseen lets users view 100% of messages deleted in Messenger, which is sure to satisfy many gamers’ curiosity. It’s no surprise that Unseen quickly caught the attention of tech forums and earned a 5-star rating for its usefulness. However, Unseen isn’t perfect and has some limitations. First, it’s only available on Android devices and hasn’t come to iOS yet.
Also, the app currently only recovers deleted text messages. For videos and photos, we’ll have to wait for future updates.
