When Female Streamers Cross the Line
Recently, Chinese police successfully busted a ring distributing adult content through an online app, arresting 47 people including many female streamers and confiscating numerous electronic devices.

Specifically, a group gained attention for openly creating 18+ adult content on a streaming platform. They continuously recruited hosts and streamers to attract as many viewers as possible. Over 600 streamers were reportedly recruited. They streamed explicit adult content nonstop on platform X. On top of that, they linked users to illegal gambling websites, causing victims to lose money and suffer harm.
Many Female Streamers in China Face Legal Trouble
The group also sent sensitive videos and images to customers for money. After gathering enough evidence, Ma’anshan police launched a focused crackdown. They arrested 47 beautiful female streamers active on platform X along with 2 app developers. Authorities seized 138 electronic devices and 86 props used in crimes. The investigation is ongoing.

This case highlights gaps in managing and monitoring the livestream industry today. Netizens say this issue must be taken seriously with stronger oversight, improved laws, and cutting off channels that allow illegal profits. At the same time, online ethics education for youth should be boosted to help them avoid harmful content and follow the law.
People also point out that chaos in the livestreaming world has long caused many problems in daily life. This situation serves as a strong warning to society: illegal online activities will never be tolerated. Everyone should steer clear of obscene content and actively help build a healthy internet environment.
Not far off, online prostitution on TikTok is becoming a growing headache as the platform turns into a space for illegal transactions. Previously, these activities hid behind many accounts and private groups, sometimes linking to external apps and platforms.
What seemed like underground prostitution is now shockingly public as many TikTok accounts openly sell adult services. Keep in mind, like other social networks, TikTok has strict advertising policies banning adult products, services, and entertainment.

However, these ads have yet to be fully stopped. Users can only report or manually block ads while using the app. If accounts get banned, offenders quickly return with new ones. So far, TikTok’s Community Guidelines seem ineffective as explicit content still easily slips through and appears openly on the platform.
