At the 2024 Worlds event last night (Vietnam time), Riot Games allowed select streamers to co-stream the matches.
Specifically, these streamers could broadcast on their personal channels without copyright issues. Alongside Hoàng Luân, Nakamura and Kiittwy also got this chance. The two beautiful female streamers sat near the Vietnamese male streamer area, instantly sparking fans to ask for their links and “check var” moments.
Two Famous Female Streamers Making Waves at Worlds 2024
“Mayumi” Nakamura, born in 2002, is a mixed Brazilian-Japanese player. She previously played for Brazil’s INTZ team for about 10 months. At 19, she became the first woman to join the professional organization INTZ, competing in the CBLOL league.
However, in May 2020, Mayumi left the team and filed a lawsuit against INTZ due to harassment from male teammates. Additionally, INTZ mainly used her image for advertising rather than supporting her competitive career like the male players.
In January 2021, Mayumi joined Team SoloMid as a full-time streamer and content creator. She is the only Brazilian on TSM and has become a social media star with millions of followers.
The other streamer, Kitty, whose real name is Athena Jiang, is a streamer and LPL caster. She’s cute and charming with an adorable voice. Kitty joined the League of Legends casting scene in early 2023 and previously worked as a caster for the LCO.
On the OCE server, Kitty consistently reached Challenger rank and has deep knowledge of League of Legends. She surprised fans by revealing she’s a longtime T1 fan and especially admires player Keria.
Alongside caster Hoàng Luân, these two stunning streamers brought the lively, authentic atmosphere of the arena straight to viewers.
