MC Phương Thảo Goes All Out
Even though Vietnam’s team was out of AIC 2024, the semifinal stage on December 28 was still buzzing with energy. Many Vietnamese fans showed up to cheer for the remaining international Arena of Valor teams. Riding that lively wave, MC Phương Thảo decided to go big by cosplaying as Krixi while hosting the event.
The MC shared about her transformation into her favorite hero: “In five years of working in esports, I’ve only cosplayed Natalya once. I wanted to give myself a memorable moment, so I chose to cosplay Krixi, the very first hero I played. I actually made it happen even though I once thought I couldn’t do it.”
“It’s my first time cosplaying on stage, inspired by the first hero I ever played and the skin with the highest win rate. Even though people joked, ‘That’s not really Krixi,’ I’m still super happy after a month of working hard on this outfit.”

Introduced in the early days of Arena of Valor, Krixi is a mage hero who quickly became a fan favorite in Season 1. Known for her powerful area-of-effect magic damage and crowd control abilities, she has caused many players to regret facing her in battle.
Krixi’s designs are known for being visually stunning, with many beautiful skins that have inspired countless cosplayers. However, Phương Thảo is the first MC to bring this look to the hosting stage.
Known for her creativity and willingness to reinvent herself, especially at big events, Phương Thảo’s transformation left many male fans staring in awe.
