Ryuta Watanabe, 36, from northern Hokkaido, hasn’t worked in 10 years. During that time, he’s taken on the role of a homemaker, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids. His monthly living expenses come to about 914,000 yen (over 150 million VND), which his wives and girlfriends share the cost of.
Ryuta caught the internet’s attention because of his unusual marriage setup. He has 4 wives and 2 girlfriends, though he’s currently separated from one wife. Remarkably, his wives and girlfriends all live together peacefully under one roof, each with their own room. Ryuta divides his time evenly to show affection to each wife. He revealed he’s intimate with them over 28 times a week.

After being dumped by a girlfriend, he was so discouraged he lost motivation to work and lived on social welfare. From there, Ryuta began dating multiple women through dating apps. He told the media he loves women and believes as long as he loves them equally, there’s no problem.
