Police in Incheon, South Korea, have arrested a 32-year-old man known as a popular streamer. He is accused of committing a serious crime. The suspect, referred to as A, is charged with producing child pornography. He allegedly created explicit content involving a male minor on July 12 and uploaded it to a streaming platform.
The case came to light after police received a tip through the emergency hotline 112. Despite multiple summons, A repeatedly refused to cooperate with investigators. This forced police to obtain a court order for his arrest, which took place while he was livestreaming from an apartment in Seo District, Incheon.
A is known for frequently posting violent and provocative content across various platforms, including YouTube. On top of that, he is also under investigation for allegedly assaulting a 20-year-old woman during another livestream on July 20.
A police spokesperson said, “We started the investigation based on the 112 tip, but since A refused to cooperate, we had no choice but to arrest him. We will continue investigating to clarify the full details of the case.”
