Khoa Pug reveals that his leg lengthening series will be a long one. The past few days were just phase one, which cost over 2.3 billion VND (about $100,000). He’s now about 1.75 meters tall. He says after his legs fully recover, he plans to continue with phase two to reach over 1.8 meters.

The first steps were tough, and he relied heavily on support equipment and help from his physical therapist. While moving, he winced in pain and had to return to bed to rest. Khoa Pug also mentions that after day two, he will be discharged to recover and practice walking at home instead of staying in the hospital. To adjust to the long recovery, he will need to use a wheelchair for mobility.
