Loved by fans for his luxury travel videos, YouTuber Khoa Pug has often talked about his wealth. Recently, he bragged that he can make up to 2 billion VND a day, even calling 30 billion VND “trash” to him. Earlier, entrepreneur Vuong Pham from the US revealed Khoa Pug’s wealth, saying: “Khoa hinted that in Vietnam he’s involved in real estate, buying and selling land. He’s basically very careful with his money, not wasteful.” So his advice on “getting rich” has caught a lot of attention.
This wealthy YouTuber recently laid out a roadmap for Gen Z on how to earn at least 50 million VND a month by age 26 to 28. His advice quickly sparked buzz online. Specifically, Khoa Pug said: “Go to college or university, study whatever you want but finish as fast as possible. Once you graduate, you have to get a job right away. At 21, if you start working in IT with a salary of 3 to 4 million VND, you still have to take it to gain experience. But honestly, IT salaries aren’t bad, most start above 10 million VND.
Being a coder is like being a carpenter, the more you practice the better you get. At 21, work and learn at the same time. After about two years, by 23, you should have plenty of experience and be ready to switch jobs. For example, if you’re making 10 million VND, you should jump to a job paying double, 20 million VND. Then from 20 million, move up to 40 or 50 million VND. By 26 to 28 years old, your salary should be at least 50 million VND, which means earning 600 million VND a year.”
Many viewers agree with him, saying Khoa Pug’s advice is realistic since IT is booming in today’s society. If young people are passionate and skilled in programming, reaching the salary levels he mentioned isn’t hard and can even be much higher.
However, some disagree, shaking their heads at this “life lesson.” They argue that if Khoa Pug’s plan was that easy, everyone would be rushing to study IT already.
