The news of Khoa Pug retiring has shocked the online community recently. Known for his many controversies and even being called Vietnam’s richest YouTuber thanks to his extravagant spending, Khoa Pug’s name in the later part of his career was mostly linked to drama with diamond king Johnny Dang. While it’s a bit sad that fans won’t get to watch his luxury review videos anymore, what people are really curious about now is the future of his YouTube channel, which has nearly 5 million subscribers.

According to Social Blade, the most trusted independent stats site, Khoa Pug’s channel earns between $56,200 and $899,900 annually (around 1.2 to 20 billion VND). But these are just estimates. Khoa Pug himself has said many times that he actually lost money making review videos. In the past, he revealed that some of his videos with millions of views didn’t make any money even though ads were running. Sometimes, he went months without any income from YouTube, paying out of his own pocket to produce content.

Still, with almost 5 million subscribers, Khoa Pug’s channel holds significant value. It’s unclear what he plans to do with this “asset.” But remember, during the drama with Johnny Dang, Khoa Pug once said if someone offered 30 billion VND to buy his channel, he’d be willing to sell. “If anyone thinks I spent 35 billion VND just to get attention, then whoever wants to buy my 4 million-subscriber YouTube channel for 30 billion VND, I’m ready to sell and step away. I don’t need this kind of attention anymore. What I want now is to stay safe and live peacefully,” he said after being accused of seeking fame from the drama a few months earlier.

Of course, this was probably just a figure Khoa Pug threw out during the heat of the moment. As he also said, “30 billion VND is a lot for you, but to me, it’s like trash.” So it’s unlikely he has any real plans to sell his channel, even though he’s retired and doesn’t intend to use it anymore.
