The story centers on Japanese model and influencer Hirase Airi, who has over 1 million Instagram followers and gained fame after appearing on a reality dating show last year.
Openly admitting to cosmetic surgery, Airi recently grabbed attention by sharing before-and-after photos, revealing she spent 26 million yen (around 4.6 billion VND) to completely change her life.

Airi says her transformation gave her not only confidence but also new career opportunities.
She advises young people to invest in themselves, especially their appearance, while they still have the time and energy to work hard. “If I had this face at 20, my life would have been much easier,” Airi honestly shared. Before fame, she often opened up about her tough childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother frequently expressed regret because Airi’s face reminded her of her ex-husband. Those harsh words deeply affected Airi’s self-esteem.

Not only was she emotionally rejected by her mother, but Airi also faced bullying from friends because of her looks. These wounds pushed her to change her fate through plastic surgery. At 16, she set a clear goal: to earn money for surgery. She took on jobs from security guard to moving company laborer and other tough manual work. For eight years, Airi lived frugally in a rented room, saving every yen for her dream of a new life. After years of hard work, she saved over 10 million yen and invested it all in surgery. This transformation marked a fresh start: from a shy girl, Airi became a social media sensation and even became CEO of a subsidiary company linked to the Breaking Down martial arts league.

To date, Airi has spent over 26 million yen on her appearance and says it was the best decision of her life. The 28-year-old insists that instead of splurging on luxury items like Birkin bags, investing in a beautiful face is the real ticket to a new life for women.
