Recently, images have been widely shared on social media highlighting inappropriate content found in the 3rd Grade IT Workbook published by Hue University Publishing House.
Specifically, in exercise 3, lesson 18 titled Practice Using the Computer Mouse on page 59, the book instructs students to visit the website thieunhi******* to practice scrolling and search for videos. However, when parents and students accessed this link, their browsers redirected them to a pornographic website, causing serious concern about children’s online safety.

Contacted for comment, a representative from Hue University Publishing House quickly issued an official response to clarify the situation. They stated that the publisher is actively working with partners and the authors to review and verify all reported content.
According to preliminary information from the publisher, the website thieunhi******* originally included in the workbook was used appropriately for educational purposes as intended in the book’s content. However, the site’s purpose has since changed, now redirecting to content unsuitable for an educational environment.
To fully resolve this issue, Hue University Publishing House is collaborating with partners, authors, and relevant authorities to report the matter to the Cybersecurity Department and other competent agencies. The publisher affirmed they are making every effort to address the problem quickly to avoid disrupting students’ learning.
“The publisher is working with partners and authors to report this to the Cybersecurity Department and relevant authorities, while coordinating with related units to resolve the issue promptly,” the representative said.
Earlier, the publisher also issued an urgent notice to educational institutions and parents, advising them to temporarily stop guiding students to access the website during practice sessions. They also recommended that families closely monitor their children’s internet use until an official fix is announced.
