Raina Huang, 29, from California, is known for her incredible ability to eat fast and a lot. She’s proven this talent in numerous eating contests, once winning a prize of $30,000 (about 730 million VND).

Huang revealed that her ability to eat so much and so fast came from her gaming days. She didn’t want meal breaks to interrupt her gameplay, so she developed a habit of eating quickly to get back to the game as soon as possible.

She recalls her first eating contest was a challenge to finish a 1.8kg burrito in 6 minutes. To everyone’s surprise, Huang nailed it. The video of her challenge went viral on social media, boosting her popularity. As she gained fame, restaurants invited her to take on eating challenges for promotions, and eventually, this became her full-time career.
Huang can eat 100 steamed buns in 10 minutes, 100 plates of sushi in 35 minutes, and nearly 8kg of beef in just over an hour. Her eating videos have millions of fans.

Huang once dreamed of becoming an actress or singer but realized it wasn’t the right fit. Now, she’s fully focused on her career as a food reviewer.
