Annual Charity Drives
Every year, Độ Mixi rallies and donates all the money he receives from donations during the last month of the year to help people in difficult situations.
Most recently, in December 2020, after raising over 400 million VND, he allocated 200 million VND to build a bridge in Cao Bằng and add classrooms for kids in the mountainous Northwest region. His family also contributed an extra 100 million VND to make it happen.
He openly shares all expenses and project completion updates with his supporters to keep everything transparent.
Helping Flood Victims
During last year’s heavy floods in Central Vietnam, which caused severe damage, many charity groups called for support to help locals recover. Độ Mixi raised 1.2 billion VND in a single livestream, including 466 million VND from his own family. All funds were handed over to singer Thủy Tiên for flood relief efforts.
This livestream was one of his most memorable, with donations pouring in nonstop. Độ Mixi expressed heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support for Central Vietnam.
Joining the Fight Against COVID-19
Độ Mixi and his Mixi Gaming community showed strong solidarity during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020. When the Vietnam Fatherland Front called for nationwide support to fight the outbreak, the streamer and his fan club donated a total of 100 million VND. Độ Mixi’s family contributed 60 million VND, and the fan club added 40 million VND.
Although he reportedly asked members to keep the donation private, news spread quickly within the gaming community.
More recently, following the Prime Minister’s directive, the Ministry of Information and Communications called on citizens to support the “COVID-19 Vaccine Fund” for purchasing, importing, researching, and producing vaccines. Độ Mixi’s family voluntarily donated 14 months’ worth of salary. He encouraged his community by saying, “If anyone in our tribe can contribute, whether a little or a lot, let’s join hands to push back the pandemic.”
Notably, even though it was his personal money, he labeled the donation under the MixiGaming fan club.
As a major influencer in the PUBG community and Vietnamese streaming scene, his meaningful actions alongside his fan club have earned widespread praise online. Độ Mixi shows he inspires not just through gaming but also through impactful real-life contributions.
