After two years since Kratos returned in God of War 2018, fans are finally getting ready to continue the Greek god’s epic conquest of Norse lands. Titled God of War: Ragnarok, the game is set to launch on January 14, 2022. Ever since Sony first revealed the next God of War installment at the PS5 console launch event, gamers have been buzzing with excitement and high expectations. Many are hoping GoW: Ragnarok will be the next Game of the Year winner in the series.

Good news for PC gamers: GoW: Ragnarok won’t be exclusive to any platform. PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and PC players will all get to experience this blockbuster. Recently, Sony shared the first PC specs needed to run GoW: Ragnarok at various graphics settings.

Gamers will only need a PC build costing around 10 million VND (roughly $430) to play at Medium settings (720p 30FPS) and Recommended settings (1080p 30FPS).
That’s not all. God of War: Ragnarok will include PC-exclusive features like Nvidia DLSS AI Performance Boost, Nvidia Reflex, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, and enhanced graphics options, tailored to your graphics card.
Special Features in the Game
If you’re not familiar, this God of War takes place years after Kratos took revenge on the gods of Olympus. He’s now living in hiding with his son Atreus in ancient Norway, in the kingdom of Midgard. Sadly, Kratos’ second wife and Atreus’ mother has passed away, leaving a final wish to have her ashes spread at the highest point across the nine realms. On their journey, father and son face countless challenges wherever they go, uncover secrets of the realms, and confront fierce enemies. But the heart of the game is the powerful story of their father-son bond. Ultimately, they return home to live a simple life.
God of War: Ragnarok officially launches on January 14, 2022, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
