Alpha Ace is one of the upcoming shooter games Garena plans to release soon. Recently, the game officially opened for testing on Android. Although Vietnam is not in the test region, many players have found ways to try out this shooter.
According to some players who successfully downloaded Alpha Ace on Android, the new Garena title is around 1GB in size, with an initial download of about 600MB. The game currently requires a minimum of 2GB RAM, which is not too demanding by today’s standards.
However, keep in mind this is just a test version, and the game will likely be upgraded with higher system requirements in the future. Vietnamese players have noted that Alpha Ace feels quite similar to CS:GO, from the weapons to the map layouts.
Back in February 2021, Alpha Ace was introduced as Global Offensive Mobile, developed by a studio in Thailand. The visuals, weapon system, maps, and weapon purchasing mechanics all remind players of CS:GO. To date, few shooters have come close to replicating CS:GO like Global Offensive Mobile has.
The developers’ efforts on this game deserve praise. Unfortunately, this isn’t an official CS:GO product, and Valve, who owns the CS:GO rights, might take legal action against CS:GO Mobile. This has happened before with Area F2, a shooter that was shut down indefinitely after Ubisoft filed lawsuits against Google and Apple.
