Another Arena of Valor Pro Player Banned Permanently
Last night, Garena announced a penalty against pro player Zeus MN and the entire Zeus Entertainment team. This punishment shocked not only the Arena of Valor community but also stirred widespread discussion across Vietnam’s gaming forums.
Specifically, player Võ Nguyễn Minh Nhựt (known as Zeus MN) violated Articles 10.10.9 and 10.10.17 of the Winter 2024 ĐTDV tournament rules. He was fined 150 million VND, deducted from the Winter 2024 ĐTDV prize pool. Additionally, Zeus MN is banned permanently from all tournaments organized or co-organized by Vietnam Esports and Entertainment Joint Stock Company.

As for the Zeus team, members Lê Văn Học, Đỗ Tuấn Linh, Ngô Văn Nhân, and Trương Lê Công Quốc Hậu have not cooperated fully to clarify the situation as requested. Zeus Media also failed to properly manage its players, so the team has been stripped of its right to compete in the Winter 2024 ĐTDV promotion round.
A Shock to Vietnam’s Arena of Valor Community
The misconduct by Zeus MN had been reported and uncovered quite some time ago. During the Winter 2024 ĐTDV season, he faced heavy criticism for blatant match-fixing. Zeus Media quickly terminated his contract and issued an apology. However, the gaming community remained unsatisfied since other members are still under suspicion and the issue hasn’t been fully resolved.

After a long wait, Garena has finally handed down a fitting punishment. Zeus MN becomes the third player in history, after Bé Chanh and NTzz, to receive a lifetime ban from domestic tournaments. There’s a strong chance other Zeus Media members will face similar bans as Garena continues a thorough investigation into the scandal.
