Recently, a cyber gaming cafe in Chongqing, China reported to local police that a computer monitor and two PC setups were stolen from their shop. Police quickly investigated and tracked down the suspect. The culprit was a Chinese man named Huang.
Huang confessed that his reason for stealing the computers was his intense gaming addiction. He wanted to own a high-end PC to experience “freedom in gaming” but didn’t have the money to buy one himself. So he took a monitor and PC setups from the cyber cafe.
But after bringing the equipment home and assembling it, Huang found the machines were damaged and unusable. Frustrated, he decided to return the next day to steal another PC.
Currently, the stolen monitor and two PC setups have been recovered by local police. Huang is facing legal action for theft. The investigation is ongoing.
