But recently, one gamer surprised everyone by being the last player left on a server, still logging in and playing consistently for 15 years.
The guy in question plays a lesser-known game that stopped updating back in 2005, so much so that many thought it had completely vanished. It wasn’t until 17 years later, when he posted on a forum, that people realized the game was still alive. He admitted he started playing from the very beginning, and by 2007, he was basically the only player left on the server. For 15 years straight, he kept playing solo without a single break.
This isn’t the first time someone has complained about being the last player standing on a server for a long time. Similar odd stories have popped up in games like World of Warcraft. Even in the once hugely popular Vietnamese game Thiên Long Bát Bộ, players have called on others to “return to their roots” to revive the community.
