On the morning of August 26, a leader from Hanoi’s Department of Information and Communications said the department’s inspectorate has been assigned to investigate and handle a female streamer who made inappropriate remarks insulting a senior official, which have been spreading on social media.

The official emphasized that the verification process must be careful, accurate, and comply with legal procedures and content requirements.
Earlier, a clip circulated on social media showing a female streamer making careless comments during a livestream. She insulted a senior leader.
During a Facebook Gaming livestream, the once-popular League of Legends streamer M.L.N. (real name N.T.T.L.) responded to a rude comment from a fan about bald people by citing a senior official as an example instead of ignoring it.
N.T.T.L. is known as a prominent streamer with hundreds of thousands of followers across social media platforms.
As soon as the clip and information about her inappropriate remarks spread, many condemned her and called on authorities to take strict action to set an example for others about responsible speech on social media and respecting others.
