Diep Tuyen, a well-known TVB actress famous for hit dramas like A Beautiful Life, Strongest King, Unyielding, Iron Fist Storm, The World’s Best Sword, Beauty and the Beast (2011), and King of Herbal Medicine, has made a name for herself over the years. Born in 1980, she also won the Miss Chinese International pageant in 1999. Fans have always praised her stunning looks.
After leaving TVB, her career quieted down. She also got caught up in multiple scandals and personal controversies that hurt her public image. The once-elegant actress dropped her refined image and jumped into livestream selling with a flashy style that often drew criticism.
Recently, during a livestream, Diep Tuyen shocked viewers by harshly criticizing her staff in front of thousands of live viewers. She insulted her assistant with rude words and threatened to cut their salary and bonuses. The streamer acted bossy, lecturing her assistant: “The company exists for you to create value, not to make mistakes.”
Immediately, many viewers complained that Diep Tuyen’s reaction was too harsh and inappropriate, creating negative feelings between staff and boss. When she saw comments she didn’t like, the streamer mocked fans by saying, “You probably don’t get bonuses either because you don’t know how to please your boss.” This statement came off as disrespectful to her audience and felt like a direct challenge to the online community and longtime supporters. Many saw this as unforgivable behavior.
Earlier this year, the streamer appeared on camera looking disheveled, with no makeup and wearing mismatched pigtails. She also did strange things like picking her nose, eating an entire durian, and making silly facial expressions. At one point, Diep Tuyen embarrassed many viewers by casually adjusting her clothes with her hand inside her pants in front of hundreds of thousands watching.
These off-putting actions disappointed fans and left many confused by her noticeably heavier appearance and significant waist size increase.
