Recently, the online community has been shaken by the blatant misuse of “nation’s sweetheart” Tiểu Hý’s image
It’s not just about fake accounts anymore. These scammers openly run ads, exploiting fans’ trust and affection for her to push product links.

In the past, fake pages mostly reposted old videos to boost engagement. Now, the tactics have gotten way more sophisticated. Take the TikTok account named “Tiểu Hý đi làm” for example. The owner crafts a professional and varied image. This “fake Tiểu Hý” even poses as staff from major banks like Vietcombank, TPBank, Sacombank…
Wearing bank uniforms isn’t random. It’s meant to create a trustworthy, smart, and somewhat “luxurious” vibe, tapping into the admiration many male users have for girls who are both beautiful and have stable jobs.

Under the videos, comments like “Is this the old Tiểu Hý? Amazing!” still pop up. Clearly, using a pretty image to grab attention remains super effective.

The Real Goal: Money and Exploitation
Don’t be fooled into thinking these accounts exist just for fun or fandom. Their true purpose is clear in the channel bio: “Showcasing products, guys. Love and support to help me get by.”

This is the endgame. By using a famous face, the account easily attracts followers and millions of views. Once they have massive traffic, the scammers insert affiliate links or direct sales in their “Showcase” section.
The plea to “help me get by” is a clever psychological trick, playing on compassion and generosity. Instead of feeling like they’re buying from an unknown shop, buyers think they’re supporting “Tiểu Hý” or the cute “bank employee” they adore.

Abusing AI Tech Blurs the Line Between Real and Fake
Thanks to deepfake technology and advanced filters, swapping a celebrity’s face onto someone else’s body isn’t hard anymore. That explains why some shots look very much like Tiểu Hý but her expressions can seem stiff or unnatural.
Still, most viewers get fooled by the seemingly “real” interactions. When someone comments, “DT, my phone’s out of battery,” the account quickly replies, “Aww, you’re so sweet hehe.” These sweet responses make users feel like they’re chatting with the real person, making them more likely to buy.

Serious Consequences of Identity Theft
Using Tiểu Hý’s image to run ads and sell products causes major problems. Consumers risk buying fake, counterfeit, or low-quality items from shady links. When issues arise, there’s no one to hold accountable since the channel itself is fake.
Associating Tiểu Hý’s image with shady business harms her reputation even though she’s not involved. The misuse of bank uniforms to sell online also damages the credibility and professionalism of those banks.
These scammers are getting craftier, using beauty and tech to manipulate viewers’ emotions. Be a smart internet user. Loving beauty is fine, but don’t let fake beauty trick you into becoming a target for unethical ads.
