Around noon on April 16, many users in Vietnam reported sudden issues with their Facebook accounts. The problem they faced was that when clicking on friends’ profiles, all they saw was a blank screen. All posts seemed to disappear unexpectedly.
However, reports say this issue was intermittent and didn’t affect all users. Still, it caused enough frustration for people trying to interact with friends and family on the platform.
Facebook has not yet released an official statement about the problem. Some speculate it might be due to a system glitch on Facebook’s end.
Recently, this social network has been unstable quite often. Not long ago, Facebook had issues where users couldn’t view stories. There was also an incident where many users in Vietnam reported being logged out of Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram without explanation. Although these outages lasted only 2 to 3 hours, the financial impact on Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, was significant.
